We know booking beauty services can come with a few questions — and we’re here to make it easy. Below you’ll find answers to our most common lash, brow, spray tan and training questions.

General Salon Questions
Where are you located?
We’re located at 3A Claude Street, Shepparton, Victoria — just down the long driveway, behind another house. Once you’ve walked down the driveway, turn left and enter through the glass sliding doors.
How do I book an appointment?
All bookings are made online through our secure booking system. Simply choose your preferred service, date, and time, then pay the required deposit to confirm.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a 50% deposit is required at your time of booking to secure your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a loss of booking deposit. Missed appointments will be charged 100% no show fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Afterpay, and all major credit cards.
What happens if I’m running late?
Please message us as soon as possible. If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your service time may be reduced to avoid impacting the next client. If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be automatically cancelled and you will be charged a 100% no show fee.
Eyelash Extensions
How long do lash extensions last?
With proper aftercare, lash extensions last 4–6 weeks, but we recommend refills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness.
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
When applied correctly by a qualified lash artist, they won’t damage your natural lashes. We carefully select the right length and weight to protect lash health.
Can I wear mascara with extensions?
No — mascara can break down the adhesive and cause poor retention. Instead, use our NICD Collective Lash Cleanser to keep your lashes clean and fluffy.
What’s the difference between classic and volume lashes?
Classic lashes are one extension per natural lash — perfect for a natural look.
Volume sets use multiple ultra-fine extensions per lash, creating a fuller, fluffier appearance.
How should I care for my lash extensions?
As we use a bonder at the end of your service you can get your lash extensions wet right away. Clean lashes daily with a lash cleanser, avoid rubbing your eyes, and brush gently with a spoolie. Book in regular lash refills to maintain the fullness of your lash extensions.
Korean Lash Lifting & Dyes
What is a Korean Lash Lift?
A Korean Lash Lift gently curls and lifts your natural lashes from the root for a longer, lifted look — no extensions required. It includes a lash dye for darker, more defined lashes.
How long does it last?
Results last up to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare routine.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
Yes — but you may not need to! Your lashes will already appear darker and lifted. If you do, wait at least 24 hours after your appointment.
Is a lash lift safe for sensitive eyes?
Absolutely. We use gentle, high-quality Korean formulations designed for sensitive clients and superior lash health.
Brow Lamination, Waxing & Dyes
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination smooths and lifts your brow hairs into a fuller, defined shape, giving you a polished, brushed-up look.
How long do brow results last?
Laminations last up to 8 weeks, with dye lasting 6–10 days on the skin and several weeks on the brow hairs.
Can I get my brows wet after lamination?
Avoid water, steam, and makeup around the brow area for at least 24 hours after your appointment to maintain the best results.
How often can I get my brows laminated?
Every 8–10 weeks is recommended to maintain your results without overprocessing the brow hairs.
Spray Tanning
How should I prepare for my spray tan?
Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before, avoid lotion and deodorant on the day, and wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment.
How long does a spray tan last?
Typically 7–10 days, depending on your skin type and aftercare. Using a gentle, hydrating moisturiser daily helps your tan fade evenly.
Can I shower after my tan?
Wait at least 1–4 hours before showering, or follow the instructions provided by your technician. Avoid soaps and exfoliants for the first rinse and aim to have the water just warm. Continue to shower until the water runs clear.
Training & Mentoring
Do you offer online or in-person training?
Yes! We offer both online and in-person lash training through NICD COLLECTIVE Academy, designed for beginners and experienced artists.
Do I receive a certificate after training?
Yes — all courses come with a certificate of completion to showcase your professional development.
Do you offer business mentoring?
Absolutely. Our business mentoring sessions are tailored for lash and beauty business owners wanting to grow, scale, and refine their strategy.
